The American Crisis Posted by Max Tollens Jr on July 9, 2014 at 12:04pm Send Message View Blog Weve been told that there are approximately 65 million Americans who have left the workforce because they cant find a job and weve been told that there are approximately 47 million Americans who are on food stamps. So what is the answer to the plight of these Americans in need? Amnesty. The president calls for congress to authorize $3.7 billion dollars to deal with the effects of what is called a crisis at the southern border while ignoring the crisis that continues within the borders of the country. Millions of citizens who cant find work, cant feed their families, or dont have permanent homes of their own must take a back seat to those who essentially broke into the country? A president whos own policies has contributed to the mess thats become the border crisis because of a refusal to enforce the immigration laws dares to put the costs on law-abiding American citizens? A president thats helped perpetuate violence in Mexico due to gun-running operations known as Fast and Furious now wants us to clean up his mess? Not one dime. When the government runs advertisements in Mexico explaining how to apply for benefits once they reach our side of the border, you have to wonder why there isnt as much concern for American citizens. When sanctuary cities are busy worrying about illegals paying a lower in-state tuition at colleges rather than legal citizens unemployment, theres a serious disconnect with the citizenry. Lets start doing some nation building right here at home. Lets get our citizens back on their feet and back to work. Lets take care of our own American crisis. Its part of the benefit of legal citizenship. Americans deserve better.
