The American Vintage Reissue guitars were made to revitalize - TopicsExpress

The American Vintage Reissue guitars were made to revitalize Fender’s brand and they did just that. Cost cutting measures implemented by CBS in the 1970s left Fender with a reputation for shoddy craftsmanship, but the American Vintage Reissue Series changed all that and set Fender towards the course of world-renowned quality that they enjoy today. These guitars were the last instruments to be made in Fenders original factory in Fullerton California before the buyout and move to Corona in early 1985. To own this instrument is a chance to own a piece of guitar and rock ‘n roll history. And this one is in museum shape.
