The Amigos where up against the Hardford Harlets on Wednesday night, Gareth (The Turk) Jones was on first for the Amigos, he played well but was left stunned when his opponent ripped out a great clearance to take first blood for the Hardford Harlets. MJ (I.E.D) McCourt was up next and played awesome, finishing of her opponent with ease. One each. Che (El Jefe) Regan was on third in one of the craziest games ever played, and was glad to finish it with another win. Two one Amigos. Eugene (Gino) Rafferty played great pool in the fourth and continued his good form to make it three one. Chris (The Wee lad) Graham was the fifth man and looked comfortable back in his best position and eventually won this frame. Four one. Stewart (Robot) Davison played a frame with two halves, the first a great exhibition of safety play, the second a fantastic performance of potting ability, power and white ball control as he showboated the Amigos towards the draw. Five one. Paul (The Magician) Rafferty now had the opportunity of getting the win for the home team and he obliged looking better than ever in the form of his life, making the score six one which left the Harlets with only pride to play for. Craig (Fluffy) Russam was on eighth and was beaten by an awesome black ball potted by Pam Shaw earning her first and well deserved win of the season, getting a consolation frame for Hardford harlets. Six two. Brian (The Whirlwind) Richardson had a comfortable win in the ninth while Neil (HalfAHead) McConnell was at his best in the tenth, out playing his opponent in every aspect of the game, great win for the Captain. Eight two win. So the Amigos show great bouncebackabilty from last weeks poor performance against the C.D Allstars with a solid performance against the Hardford Harlets. No better way to prepare for the three biggest games of their season which are against The Chosen (twice) and the Derailers (once). Well done Amigos. This Wednesday we play away to the in form Derailers in a top of the table clash, so we will need another strong performance with no mistakes. Lets go Amigos, same good stuff.
