The Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland holds their Holiday Open House Saturday, Dec. 7 from 10 a.m. till 3 p.m. Ill be there signing Sammy in the Sky and August Gale books from 10 till noon. Every year, the Westbrook shelter rescues 4,000 animals -- dogs, cats, rabbits, parrots, guinea pigs -- and finds them new homes. Come support the wonderful agency this weekend. Ill also be signing books in Freeport Sunday, Dec. 8 at Shermans bookstore (128 Maine Street) from 12 to 2 p.m. Hope to see you at one place or another!
