The Appalachians was written and produced by a West Virginian. If you have not watched, The Appalachians you should. The book and the documentary, were written and produced by one of West Virginias own, Mari-Lynn Evans. She is from Bulltown WV. This film received awards and praise, as well as, being featured often on PBS.
