The Apple Watch Its good, but I feel Apple missed a huge opportunity to Think Different here. While they have an unrivaled amount of customization in the watch features and accessories, it is a moot point because of one key design flaw that all other smart-watch makers also make: form-factor. Its pretty much a square. The square is used to fit in all the smart features of the watch and none of the physical features. Squares just arent as proportional to the wrist as a rectangle. Circles are okay, but they have too distinct a shape that they dont complement the changes to your look each day. Rectangles blend into the width of the band more naturally than squares and circles. That said, its a missed opportunity for Apple to release a product that could shape into all 3--or some other way of solving the problem, given Apples reputation. The current prototype of the Apple Watch is like a repackaged iPod Nano + wristband on steroids. Theyve already done that. If you just do a Google Image search for Apple Watch, the most popular images are not even photos of Apples product, but rather peoples imaginations of what a marvel it could have been. Lets face it: the Apple Watch is the first thing people will notice about you because its an eyesore in size like so many other smart-watches. Its like wearing a suit that is not tailored. #stayclassy
