The Area Plan Commission on Tuesday gave a favorable recommendation to the citys intentions of expanding the Tax Increment Finance zone to include the Willow Street corridor. The vote was 5-1 (three commission members were absent) with Chuck Sebring, who represents the city on the plan commission, casting the “no” vote. The measure now heads back to the city council for final approval. Mayor Joe Yochum said it will be on the agenda for the councils March 10 meeting.
