The Arizona Art Education Association has honored five NAU alumni and one current student with awards for outstanding achievements in the teaching of art. They are: Chelsea Tinklenberg (senior), Outstanding Higher Education Student of Achievement; Elisa Wiedeman (Class of 2004 and currently an instructor in the School of Art), Outstanding Higher Education Art Educator; Jessalyn Carpino (class of 2011), Outstanding First-Year Professional Art Educator; Janeece Henes (class of 1997), Outstanding High School Art Educator; Kelly Martin (class of 2011), Emerging Leadership Award; Devin Smith (class of 2009), Outstanding Elementary Art Educator, Congratulations!
