The Army restores security to three more areas in Lattakia northern countryside Aug 11, 2013 Lattakia, (SANA) – Units of the Syrian Arab Army have restored security and stability to more areas in the northern countryside of Lattakia province. In a statement to SANA reporter, an official source announced that units of the armed forces on Sunday restored security and stability to Obin village and Prophet Isaiah Mount after having eliminated the armed terrorist groups that had infiltrated into them. The Army earlier seized full control of Kherbet al-Baz village, with many terrorists were killed and tens of explosive devices,planted by the terrorists, were dismantled, according to the source. The The source added that other army units killed and injured terrorists who infiltrated into Sheikh Nabhan, Obin, Prophet Ishia Mount areas. The source noted that heavy machineguns, anti-aircraft guns and missile pads, used by the terrorists, were destroyed.
