The Art Deco Festival: Queen Mary The LA 20s scene is a small group of elitist snobs. Their events are a private function. This event is not really open to the public or other 20s re-enactors. If you go to the event, everyone there will be openly rude and confrontive towards you. The people running the event quickly descend on you and kick you out. It’s for the best though, because the people are dull, somber, rude, boring and lack any personality at all. Most of them are over 70 and despise young people unless they are there as musicians. Even if you stayed, you would be quickly board to death. In typical Southern California fashion people go out to a social event to keep to themselves. Another fine example of the unfriendly attitudes of people in large cities.
