The Aspiring Assemblyman for Kokomlemle East Electoral Area Umar Abdul-Rahma Leramah has adopted the Ghana Protect the Goal (GH-PtG) campaign within his community to educate and inform the youth about HIV and how entertainment can change behavior among the youth. The GH-PtG Community Health Walk which was held on 27th December 2014, ended successfully with over 200 youth participating. Mr. Umar Abdul-Rahman Leramah gave a talk about the campaign and its importance for everybody to know his or her HIV status, as well as how to use condom correctly. He added that the youth should watch out for a soccer tournament dubbed “PtG Community Soccer Tournament” which will be started early January 2015. He said, “I believe the PtG campaign is made for us the youth at various community level worldwide, if we make the campaign our own then we can achieve closing the Gap in HIV and ending of AIDS”.
