The Audi (or as I have affectionately named it: Audrey) has officially gotten the best of me. After stalling out on me due to its built in fuel saver or due to my inability to shift at the correct time, I have resigned to hanging out locally today. She took a beating from me, but served me well. I am just very thankful that I got her back to the hotel without any dents. I almost didnt even leave the parking garage after a major fiasco caused when the gate wouldnt open with my ticket. When I got to ask for assistance, a woman started screaming at me in German & pointing to the car. I was parked on a knoll & it was rolling back towards their car. I ran to jump inside to hit the brake & hot the clutch first, causing it to roll faster. In the meantime, her husband was backing up as quickly as he could, trying to avoid slamming into the wall behind him. He finally sped out around me, squealing tires. As he sat for the gate next toe to lift, he rolled down his wifes window & screamed lots of German at me. (Im sure profanity was included.). Needless to say, I got stopped before slamming into the wall & put it in park & began crying. I left it there & walked back to the hotel lobby. As I explained to the woman whom I have nicknamed Frauline Helga because of her fakeness, she rubbed my arm to console me. So, I was able to go back to the garage to rescue Audrey with Frauline Helgas help. And off I went, thinking this adventure better be worth the frustration.
