The Australian and Queensland Liberal Nationals Governments today committed $74 million to cut congestion for Gold Coast motorists at the Coomera interchange. Together with the Queensland Treasurer Tim Nicholls, Federal Member for Forde Bert van Manen, State Member for Albert Mark Boothman, and State Member for Coomera Michael Crandon, we announced a major upgrade to the Pacific Motorways Exit 54 that will replace two roundabouts with signalised intersections and build a new three lane overpass. The project will also clear the way for a major job creating development, including the Coomera Town Centre, providing a major boost to the local economy. I thank Bert van Manen and State LNP representatives who have worked cooperatively to achieve this result.
