The BBC have responded unusually quickly to my last complaint. ear Miss Sutherland Reference CAS-3001219-MXZQ3R Thank you for taking the time to contact us again. I am sorry to learn you are unhappy with our previous response. We believe we hae explained the BBC’s position as clearly as we can and I do not feel there is more we can usefully add at this stage of the BBC’s complaints process. I realise you may be disappointed by this but we have sought to explain the position and do not have further to add at this stage. There can be up to three stages to the complaints procedure and you can find full details at bbc.co.uk/bbctrust/governance/complaints_framework/. If you remain dissatisfied, and therefore wish to take your complaint to the second stage of the procedure, please write within 20 working days to Ian Small explaining why and asking him to investigate further. His contact details are: Ian Small Head of Public Policy & Corporate Affairs BBC Scotland 40 Pacific Quay Glasgow G51 1DA email: [email protected] Dear Ian, My last email was not answered at all by your complaint handler. Most of all I asked a question which I would like answered. How many complaints have the BBC had about media bias over the last two years up until the Scottish Referendum and of those complaints, how many have been upheld by the BBC? If you are not able to provide me with this information, please tell me how I can acquire it. Yours sincerely, Angela Sutherland
