The BNP is disgusting. If we need evidence that this repugnant political party is trying to win support by hijacking heartwarming stories that relate to the D-Day anniversary, then here is a piece of it. Bernard defended the world against fascism, the very ideology at the centre of the BNP. Yes, lets like Bernard for sneaking out of his care home to head over to Normandy yesterday; but lets not even contemplate liking this odious gang of right-wing opportunists who prey on our emotions and cynically undermine the valiant efforts of Bernard and many thousands of others who fought fascism 70 years ago. I wonder what Bernard would think about the BNP telling the world to like him. I hope he sneaks out of his care home again, this time to let Nick Griffin know in person. The BNP is disgusting. Rant over.
