The Barbourville Tourism & Recreation Commission is in the process of developing a multi-year strategic plan for tourism and would like to have input from the community. Two listening sessions are being held on January 29th and the public is invited to offer their ideas and comments. The day session is at noon at the Forcht Bank community room on Knox Street and the evening session at 6:00 p.m. will be held at the Barbourville & Knox County Visitor Center on 117 High Street. Your comments on increasing tourism and developing our parks, trails, recreation, and attractions are welcome. For more information contact the tourism office at 545-9674.
