The Bible tells us that the Lord gives and he takes......All he wants is for his children to follow him and trust in him......He completely understands how hard this life is for his children.....holding on and trusting in him is what he requests.......He has plans for why he gives and plans for why he takes....We cant see the big picture but he can... Job was a man of God and he completely trusted in God, even after he lost his family, his health, and everything he owned.....In Job 1:21, Job said: I was naked when I was born, and I will be naked when I die. The Lord gave these things to me, and he has taken them away. Praise the Name of the Lord. To live in my presence consistently, you must expose and expel your rebellious tendencies. When something interferes with your plans or desires, you tend to resent the interference. Try to become aware of each resentment, however petty it may seem. Dont push those unpleasant feelings down; instead, let them come to the surface where you can deal with them. Ask my spirit to increase your awareness of resentful feelings. Bring them boldly into the Light of My Presence so that I can free you from them. The ultimate solution to rebellious tendencies is submission to My authority over you. Intellectually, you rejoice in My sovereignty, without which the world would be a terrifying place. But when My sovereign will encroaches on your little domain of control, you often react with telltale resentment. The best response to losses or thwarted hopes is praise: The Lord gives and the Lord takes away. Blessed be the name of the Lord. Remember that all good things - your possessions, your family and friends, your health and abilities, your time - are gifts from Me. Instead of feeling entitled to all these blessings, respond to them with gratitude. Be prepared to let go of anything I take from you, but never let go of My hand!.....Sarah Youngs Jesus Calling. Be humble under Gods powerful hand so he will lift you up when the right time comes. Give all your worries to him, because he cares about you. Control yourselves and be careful! The devil, your enemy, goes around like a roaring lion looking for someone to eat. Refuse to give in to him, by standing strong in your faith. You know that your Christian family all over the world is having the same kinds of sufferings. And after you suffer for a short time, God, who gives all grace, will make everything right . He will make you strong and support you and keep you from falling. He called you to share in his glory in Christ, a glory that will continue forever. 1 Peter 5:6-10 youtube/watch?v=1ohvhmGSfxI
