The Bible uses very strong language about the church’s submission to pastoral authority. “Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves...” (Heb. 13:17). Those are strong words. Unless the pastors are leading contrary to the Bible in a very clear and obvious manner, the church member must submit to them as unto God.
