The Bible warns for the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. 2 Timothy 4:3,4. This prophecy is being fulfilled right in our eyes today. People hate sound biblical doctrine. People despise absolute biblical truth. People hate the old time unchanging religion. Biblical preaching has been replaced with motivational speeches. Sin is not condemned and the sinner is left feeling good in sin. Churches have become places of entertainment. Disciples have been reduced to mere spectators of celebrity preachers and rockstar worship leaders. The Lord says: “Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where the good way is, and walk in it; then you will find rest for your souls. But they said, ‘We will not walk in it. Give me the old time religion!
