The Big Blue Marble, a show about global unity in late 1970s, was when pen-pal was the only way for kids to learn of each other via letters and...yup...snail mail. It was an era before internet, Facebook, Youtube, Whatsapp and emails, where a kid would wait eagerly for the mailman to deliver a reply. The lyrics of the theme song also left a mark on me as it taught us that coming together as a people was a way to bridge the racial and cultural gap. Together is a world that we must learn to understand,If we ever wanted to get to know each other better.Together you and I, we hold tomorrow in our hands, Tomorrows just another day to get together..get closer. Pray that this is still the desire of humanity. To None Wish Ill But To All I Seek Peace and Love.
