The Bilpin Rural Fire Service are very pleased to announce that the Bilpin Bush Run (formerly known as the Willy2Billy) will take place this year, on Saturday 23rd August, incorporating a new route. The course will commence at the Bilpin District Hall and wind its way along Mount Tootie Road and into the Wollemi National Park, around Mount Tootie and return to the hall. Participants will face various types of challenging terrain, surrounded by stunning vistas. Further information concerning the run, course map, entry form and fees can be found at bilpinbushrun.au Refreshments will be available to purchase, in the Bilpin District Hall, from 8am and a small community market will offer local produce and products. Further information about Bilpin, accommodation and restaurants can be found at visitbilpin The Bilpin Bush Run is the main fundraising activity undertaken by the Bilpin Brigade. As a result of the devastating fires in October and November 2013, further upgrades to the fire shed were placed on hold and the community in general suffered from loss of trade as visitor numbers plummeted. This event will not only provide vital training for members, but help reinvigorate both the Bilpin Brigade and the greater community. We look forward to seeing many familiar faces and thank you for your continued support
