The Bipartisan Sportsmens Act of 2014 (S 2363) was introduced May 20th and reported by the committee on May 21st of this year. It is virtually the same bill as HR 3590 (The SHARE Act) which passed the House on February 5th of this year, but has not and likely will not make it through Senate (it has a 13% chance). S2363 has more backing than HR3590 did, but is also likely to have gun right restriction amendments added to it as it goes through Senate and the House. The bill going through Senate has a 33% chance of being enacted. I highly encourage each and every person to make contact with your representatives on this bill to advise them of your support for it as it is currently worded and to urge them to demand that no anti-gun amendments be added to the bill as it moves along.
