The Blind Painter and the Blind Customer I met. Ive just seen this on fb which is brilliant and amazing and it also brought back a memory of meeting a customer who was blind about 15 years ago. I was having a show in a gallery in Nottingham when a lady came in who was a regular customer of the gallery. She told me even though she was totally blind she could sense colour. I was I have to admit if Im honest a little sceptical. But then watched her go around the gallery and touch the paintings and explained how some were hot and others cold and every time she did this her hands were on corresponding cooler or warmer sections of a painting. Meeting her left a very profound mark on me, leaving me to ponder even more on how powerful colour can be. Polly and I are currently gazing over Glasgow looking at a fantastic green sky after a wonderful afternoon visiting various suggested places around the city, so thanks again face bookers x
