The Blue Bulls moved into the top four on the Currie Cup log with a 37-6 bonus-point win against the Pumas in Nelspruit last night and our hopes are once again revived. For most of the year thus it has looked as if the our beloved side would fail to reach the semi-finals for a second consecutive season. But they have fought back well in recent weeks, and a win against Griquas at Loftus next Saturday should seal their spot While the second half of this match produced some good rugby, the first was a scrappy affair and left me wondering whether the jubilarion by management last week indeed that they had retained their jobs. But then my team returned and I am so happy to write in a positive note this weekend. The second half is the type of rugby we have come to expect from our Pretoria based side. Will we make the semis? Well if we play this brand of rugby against Griquas next week, hell yeah but it is going to be a tough semi final against the old enemy at Newlands.
