,,The Blues will never die. Said Johnny Winter The Great White Man Of The Blues. On his new album Step Back younger guitar players of today will hold to some extant the blues scene alive and Johnny Winter heard them already. Joe Bonamassa but, which will appear posthumously in early September, along with Winter Sweet Sixteen may rape he didn´t know him. In addition Eric Clapton and Joe Bonamassa are also Brian Setzer, Leslie West, Joe Perry, Billy Gibbons, Dr.John and Ben Harper as a guest on the new record that now Johnny Winter´s legacy is. To Johnny Winter´s guitar gear: Johnny Winter uses a Music Man 410 120-watt combo which has been his amp of choice since the late 70s. The Boss CE-2 Chorus is kept on all night to add depth to his tone. Though best known for his Gibson Firebird, Winter´s main axe is a Lazer from Erlewine Guitars. Winter says he prefers the Lazer because it stays in tune, sounds trebly like a Fender, but plays like a Gibson. The Firebird is used primarily for slide and is kept in open D tuning. The bridge was modified before he purchased it. RIP JOHNNY WINTER :-(
