The Bodypaint Jam - 18th October 2014- 9am to 7 pm (Central Glasgow). Following my earlier call for MUA/bodypainters (still space for 2 more). I am now asking for expressions of interests from models. The bodypainters will then choose the model that best suits their requirements. Models should have a public portfolio page. Though previous experience with bodypainting is preferred, its not essential. You should bear in mind though that it usually suits smaller breasted female models and males in at least a moderately healthy condition. Bodypainting involves partial nudity and the event will involve several models and body painters working in close proximity during the day, so you need to be comfortable in those kind of surroundings. You also need to be comfortable with posing in the finished work in front of the camera with different photographers. No behind the scenes photos will be taken until the important bits are painted and/or covered but some will be taken at that point to show the work in progress. We are asking photographers to provide some initial preview images within 3-5 days and then final edits within 2-3 weeks maximum. Images will be shared with all participants and should be credited accordingly if used in your portfolios. You must be available for the whole day as makeup/painting may take up to 8 hours, with a 9 am start and we may be shooting up to 7pm potentially. The venue is in central Glasgow (Sauchiehall St) so convenient for public transport, with car parks (Cambridge St) within reach. There is a £5.00 charge to take part. This helps us to pay for the venue hire. This is not a commercial venture nor a competition. just a chance for bodypainters to demonstrate their talents, models to demonstrate theirs and for a few photographers to try and capture the results.
