The Boswell begin preparations for a new season in the winter league and are delighted to announce first off that last seasons top scorer Robert ONeill has signed again for the club. Robert is one of the top players in the SDAFL, no stranger to silverware, and was in fact the SDAFLs inaugural overall Top Scorer winner. Robert is one of these Messi style players and can play pretty much anywhere but prefers playing as a striker. Robert also captained the team on numerous occasions last season. Next up The Boswell are also delighted to confirm that last seasons club captain Jamie MacDonald is back on paper and will continue to captain the club. Jamie is a fantastic player who plays defence or midfield and has the heart of a lion. Jamie played last season with a bad knee injury and was operated on in February. Thankfully Jamie has recovered and hopefully he will get better luck with injuries, and enjoy an injury free season. We also finish off todays player news with a new face although no stranger to ourselves, and he in fact helped us get started last summer with training etc. Craig Baisbrown, again no stranger to lifting silverware, and is also a multiple SDAFL league title winner. Again, Sas is another warrior on the park with great skill, vision, and instantly strengthened our midfield plans. An experienced campaigner and talent, Craig is another that can create or take a goal, and he was top of the managers list of new signings.
