The Brain Stem: It is the extension of the spinal cord into the brains, at the point called the thalamus. The brain stem is like the two-pronged plug found at the end of the cord attached to your metaphorical lamp. When the plug goes into the circuit box, the electricity stored in the circuit box follows the path of the cord into the lamp. One prong represent the parasympathetic nervous system; the other is the sympathetic nervous system. These two systems turn all of the organs of the body on and off. Yet modern medicine greatly ignores these connections when diagnosing of symptoms. Then Brain is the Head of the Body!
