The Buckeye Police Department would like the Buckeye residents to be aware of a suspicious vehicle and ask for your assistance in locating the vehicle. Today about 4:20 pm, Buckeye Police received information on a suspicious vehicle in the area of 255th Ave and Beloat Rd. Information received about this vehicle was from a 7 year old female and 12 year old female who said a white male wearing a white shirt, had blue eyes and wearing a black ski mask stopped them after they got off their school bus. The girls told police the male subject told them to get into his vehicle. The girls did an amazing job telling the subject, no and ran home where they immediately told their parents. The girls described the vehicle as an older model (possible GMC) box van dark blue in color with a Pittsburgh Steelers sticker in the back window. On December 3rd, we informed of another similar incident with a described blue minivan. We ask that parents speak with their children about what to do in these situations and if they carry a phone to call 911 immediately. Also for our citizens to keep an eye out for this described vehicle and to notify The Buckeye Police Dept if they have any information.
