The CFMS Advocacy Toolkit Taskforce is looking for any students who have successfully advocated for any cause – at either a municipal, provincial or federal level – to share their story on the CFMS Advocacy Toolkit webpage. The CFMS Advocacy Toolkit webpage is currently being developed and will be launched in September 2014. The purpose of the Advocacy Toolkit is to provide students with a set of advocacy resources to aid them in their advocacy endeavours. As part of this toolkit, stories of other students’ advocacy experiences will be included to provide tangible, real-life examples of medical student advocacy. Students interested in sharing their story should email VP Government Affairs Melanie Bechard ([email protected]) by Friday, January 31 at 11:59 PM indicating their interest. Upon receipt of an email, students will be interviewed via Skype or email, and their answers will be shared on the CFMS Advocacy Toolkit webpage. We hope you can contribute to this exciting new educational tool for medical students!
