Adham won the gold after defeating his Japanese counterpart Kama Goshi 3 to 1, as a part of the world championship for youth under 21, held in Guadalajara, Spain from Nov. 7-10. Esraa Nabil won her medal in the Kumite competition in under the 47 kg weight category after defeating her Turkish counterpart 4 to 0. Egypt’s medal count reached 11: eight gold and three bronze to top the standings. Japan was the runner-up after with 12 medals: 6 gold , four silver and two bronze.
