The Calhoun boys soccer team defeated Dade County 6-0 on Thursday. Scoring for the Jackets was Sergio Alvarez (3), Luis Enriques (2), and Darwin Lom (1). Lom had 3 assists and Alvarez had 1. The Jackets will travel to Armuchee on Tuesday for a game at 5:00. The Lady Jackets Soccer team traveled to Dade County last night for a region contest. The Jackets struck in the first two minutes for a quick score. Dade packed their team in the goal area so the ladies started bombing from long range. Four more balls found the net for a final of 5-0. This was the girls fifth consecutive shutout! Scorers was led by Allie Caldwell with three, Katerra Reynolds and Chloe Rice had one each. Brittany Jensen, Maricruz Ortiz, Caldwell, Caitlyn Carrol, and Heather Robinson added an assist.
