The Car Wash Guy - The Covenant Forever I was at the car wash recently and met a "saved" Christian guy who was telling me about a lady who wanted to have an affair with him. He was seriously considering having one because things were not too comfortable at home. The infatuation phase of believing that the grass is greener on the other side is the only vision he could see. He spared no thought for what he stood to lose but only see what he could possibly gain in the short term. We chatted at length about this and eventually he managed to see that the devil is quick to offer you a tasty morsel but it will never be enough to fill you up. Think about he woman at the well, 4 ex husbands and a live in lover. What we need is a reality check that God is real, willing to forgive and available to speak to. I met the car wash guy again who says that he now understands that any covenant that includes God is binding forever.
