The Cedar Knolls Fire Department along with the Whippany Fire - TopicsExpress

The Cedar Knolls Fire Department along with the Whippany Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire next to a structure in the Woodmont Properties Complex off of Cedar Knolls Road. Upon arrival command reported a fully involved vehicle with a 2nd vehicle compromised. Cedar Knolls Engine 34 was designated as the 1st due engine and stretched an 1 3/4 hand line and extinguished the fire within minutes of arrival. Cedar Knolls Engine 35, Truck 33 and Whippany Engine 81 assisted in overhaul. An investigation is being conducted by the Hanover Twp. Fire District No. 3 Fire Investigation Bureau.
