‘‘The Chairman would give us military uniforms and guns then order us to go and murder as many civiliáns as we could.Thereafter the propaganda would be spread that it is government killing citizens thus the villagers started supporting our guerrilla activities thinking that we shall save them from a murderous government yet in actual sense we are the ones who killed them at night but they ran to us for protection in the morning!!without such tactits people had refused to support our war‘‘ ‘‘The commander would tell us to remove our police uniforms and disguise as civilians and hooligans, so whenever that man of yours approached, we would start throwing stones at our fellow police men who remained in uniforms and we would some times break into people‘s shops and do all the hooliganism acts so that we can provoke and legitimise the police use of high force and shooting at you but basically your group was peaceful..... we had to improvise means of containing you ‘‘
