The China Inn is on my mind. I was chosen to this family of food, by my Mother, Reva and the man that she so loved Tony Mah jr. They loved food. Good food.. And loved the sharing of this with the community here in topeka. I have been trying to get this love, of the pride ,our family shared . My brother Alan and myself , loved that we were chosen to this family. As you all may know we were adopted by these two very loving and kind people and my little brother and I also share our parents passion. These are some photos of the China kitchen .and the first China inn. I remember I loved these delivery vans dad used to deliver food in. Although I wasnt even born yet. Lol this China kitchens building still stands. Its now the flower shop .heavenly flowers I believe. Is the name now .just north of my other favorite place . THE PAD. Whiteys old place. I believe his grand children run it now. Also I am not sure on that. You history geeks will know all of that. And I believe you will post it. As that is what history geeks do. I know I found these photos , which were with cherished photos from when I was a child. I forgot dad and mom had givin them to me. It was so very long ago. I do know these are the only pictures in existence. The originals. And when I saw a post Judy Madl tagged me in it reminded me.of the food& of them. And the love they shared with all of our familys. They put there love in every bite. . I have chosen to share this love With you all. Thank you Judy Madl. For reminding me, of this love . I wish you could have been here for my wonton burgers judy. Dads recipe. They were the bomb. Thank you Topeka for supporting the food. Maybe I will bring the food back one day, on a smaller scale. The recipes that were taught to me. I will keep you posted, on that.
