The Chinese Embassy in Zambia has urged journalist to be factual in the manner they report their stories if they were to remain as a credible source of information. Chinese ambassador to Zambia Zhou Yuwian says it is sad to learn that the Sunday Post Newspaper misquoted him saying that China does not have mines during his to Kabwe to make a donation. Mr. Yuwian disclosed that such misleading information is defamatory and likely to paint a bad image to his embassy and China at large. He has since appealed to all journalists in the country to report on things that have been said and avoid misquoting people. He was speaking this morning during a media briefing in Lusaka held at his Embassy. Meanwhile Mr. Yuwian has announced that Vice President in the republic of China Dr. Li Yuanchino will be coming to Zambia on the 18 th inline with Zambia’s 50th jubilee celebrations. He says his vice president will spend three days in Zambia of which he will be signing eight agreements tha5t will see Zambia and China benefit in the latest developmental projects.
