The Choice is Clear. Vote Mahatir! Hello all, Im Mahatir Pasha and Im running to be your student representative on the Court of Governors. I am an experienced, determined and well-rounded individual. I have been actively involved in student politics throughout my education and possess the necessary communication and listening skills required for this role. Heres what Ill do if Im elected to be on the Court of Governors: • MORE OPPORTUNITIES TO STUDY ABROAD: LSE welcomes students from around the world, but now it’s time for such an international university to send more local students around the globe also. • INCREASED SUPPORT FROM TEACHERS AND LECTURERS: Obtaining a degree from LSE is not easy. More one-to-one assistance from academics is vital. • PROMOTE DIVERSITY AND DEMOTE BIGOTRY: Different backgrounds and cultures must be embraced and in light of recent events, a strong stance must be taken to prevent vile and prejudice acts from surfacing. I will also campaign for a more diverse and less Eurocentric curriculum.
