The Chris O’Brien Lifehouse team are having a far-from-leisurely Sunday morning today, as they and over 900 other riders were up early to pedal through the picturesque Hawkesbury River region for the second leg of the Sunsuper Sydney Ride to Conquer Cancer. Whilst some of them would normally spend Sunday morning reading the paper in bed, today they’re hitting the road and doing our entire organisation and community proud. In amongst the massages, meals and entertainment last night, riders swapped tales of their training, fundraising, their blisters and perhaps saddle sores (!) and plenty of stories about why they’re riding, or who they’re riding for. It was an incredible atmosphere, and this morning the teams rose early, determined to conquer this last leg and make a difference in the lives of people living with cancer. We wish all the riders a safe and swift return journey! Help us cheer them on! #RTCCSY #COBLH
