The Christmas Prayer It was Christmas Eve, A young boy stood - TopicsExpress

The Christmas Prayer It was Christmas Eve, A young boy stood alone He had no shelter He had no home He looked into the windows Of people having fun, He wished and prayed That he could find his mum He had run away from where he lived, An orphanage he had to stay, How I wish I could find my mum, As in the snow he lay. Everyone was enjoying Christmas, In homes full of love, He once again sent his prayer, To his Father God above. As he lay there shivering, An angel descended to say, Your prayers have been answered. We have a place for you to stay. He was lifted very gently Then heard someone say Son He looked from whence the voice came It was his long lost mum Together reunited in Spirit, For God had heard his plea, He listens to all prayers, And He will do it for you and me Malcolm G Bradshaw
