The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has 143 temples functioning around the world and about 23 more under construction. There are thousands of local meeting houses around the world with chapels, classrooms, baptismal fonts, kitchens, offices and cultural halls for programs, meetings, sports and cultural events. There are no paid clergy. The members all have callings, or jobs. Jobs include organists, pianists, teachers, presidencies in all the organizations, local missionaries, cleaning of the building, etc. There are Sunday classes for everyone from age 18 months to 100+. I am in the presidency of the womens organization and Charles is a local missionary and secretary of the mens organization. No one is paid. We all do it because we love and honor our Lord, Jesus Christ. Everything works very smoothly. The 107,000+ missionaries happily pay their own way and serve in 100 different ways and in hundreds of different places across the globe. We are eternally happy.
