The City of Chicago required Funeral Directors/ Owners who drove the hearse to obtain a Chauffeurs License. ( even though the guests of honor were deceased) His first name spelled Christ is pronounced like Christian only without the ian part.....Danish spelling. His Father started the Funeral Home in 1900. He was born on 10/31/1897. Nice birthday for an Undertaker. He worked the place for most of his life. He was my Grandfather who passed away himself in 1956. I do remember him.
