The City of Fort Lauderdale will be closing several streets Friday, August 1, 2014 for Midtown Summerfest. Closures and times are as follows: Sistrunk Boulevard will be closed from NW 9th Avenue to NW 12th Avenue beginning at 5:30 am. NW 9th Avenue will remain open to northbound and southbound traffic but closed to westbound traffic (expect intermittent delays). The following roadways will be closed, from NW 7 Street to NW 5 Street, to thru traffic at the following locations (these roadways will not be able to access Sistrunk Blvd.): o NW 10th Avenue o NW 10th Terrace o NW 11th Avenue o NW 12th Avenue The following streets will be utilized to detour Sistrunk Blvd. east/west bound traffic between NW 9 Avenue to NW 12 Avenue: o NW 5th Street o NW 7th Street For more information, visit the City website at fortlauderdale.gov/summerfest or like us on Facebook at Midtown Summerfest.
