The City of Pflugerville has scheduled the final paving of Kelly Lane to begin the morning of TUESDAY, DECEMBER 16, 2014, and will continue through WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 17, 2014, weather permitting. The Kelly Lane/Kennemer intersection will be closed each morning and reopened to traffic at the end of each of the affected days. The contractor will be final paving the Kelly Lane main lanes, initiating on the north side (westbound main travel lanes), beginning Tuesday, December 16th. At the completion of westbound paving, westbound traffic will be shifted to the new travel lanes. Final paving on the south side lanes (eastbound direction), will be phased on Thursday and Friday with eastbound traffic being maintained throughout that time. Traffic cones and other temporary control devices will be installed along the finished paved portions of Kelly Lane until final striping of the roadway is completed. Final striping is expected to occur after the holiday season. TRAFFIC DETOURS Please anticipate the intersection of Kelly Lane/Kennemer Drive to be CLOSED starting the morning of December 16th. Detours will be set up at all approaches to the intersection, with signage orchestrating vehicular traffic to alternate routes. Please see the provided Detour Plan. The Kelly Lane/Kennemer intersection will be closed each morning and reopened to traffic at the end of each of the affected days. Everyone accessing Kennemer Drive is urged to seek an alternate route during these construction operations. Please use caution and safety during the paving operations at the Kennemer intersection.
