The City of RSM thoroughly reviewed and ultimately denied a request to change the zoning of the former Nissan dealership site in the auto center, determining it was not in the best interest of RSM. The wealthy out of town developer who purchased the property knowing it was zoned for auto use isnt happy that he didnt get his way. He thinks he can make more money by putting in another strip mall with a fitness center as the anchor. He doesnt care about the effect on our city. He will be circulating a petition for a ballot initiative to change the zoning. Do NOT sign the petition. Please also like the Save RSM page. Thank you!
