The City of St. John’s is helping out the Community Food Sharing Association, after news got out about a shortage at food banks. City employees will be going door to door in St. John’s next week, collecting non-perishable food items. If youd like to help, just put your non-perishable food items in a bag, marked with an “F” for food, on your front door handle or front step on the designated day for your ward. City staff will collect items, ward by ward, starting on Monday, Dec. 1 at 9 a.m., until about 3 p.m. daily. The schedule is: • Monday, Dec. 1 - Ward 1 • Tuesday, Dec. 2 - Ward 2 • Wednesday, Dec. 3 - Ward 3 • Thursday, Dec. 4 - Ward 4 • Friday, Dec. 5 - Ward 5 Check the link to find your ward :)
