The Clock of Life! Today I was sitting beside Mama Darling at the hospice as she was breathing softly, and other than the sound of her breathing, was the sound of a clock ticking on the wall. It caught my attention by the sound, causing me to look at it. First, it ticked off seconds, then minutes, and then a hour went past. The realization begin to set in, that as I watched the clock, that with every tick, I was losing precious time in my life that I can never regain. How many of us are clock watchers and not taking advantage of all the precious time that we have. God has a CLOCK for each of us on his wall in Heaven. Only He knows how much time we have, before the alarm sounds. Now sitting besides Mother, it was precious time spent, but I was also praying that the Alarm on her Clock would begin to sound, and God would call her home. No more pain no more suffering, Just adding another BRIGHT STAR in the Heavens. Our fathers,mothers, and loved ones that have gone before her, are the BRIGHT STARS waiting to show her the way, as they will be there for us! Thank you all for your Love, Prayers, and warm thoughts.
