The Collector, The Connecter, and The Defector There are people in our society – a very rare percentage – who search for certain types of people. They are constantly seeking, constantly social-surfing…and they will not stop until they find themselves. They are looking for that human mirror. They are looking for souls who exist – mirror images of who they are. These people think the same way, have the same intellect, have the same oddities, have the same troubles – and they are tired of dealing with the masses. They can’t relate to normal people, because these people are not normal – they are the people who deviate from the norm, they are people who break the rules; they are the people who refuse to be used as societal tools. They have memorized every possible human conversation a human being can say to one another; they can manipulate any situation, and they are humanly personified deviation. Without deviation, everything would constantly remain the same; nothing would ever change – we would never evolve, and we would only reduce our capacity for human beings to have a greater range. You collect what belongs with you, you collect to have someone understand you, you collect to have some companionship, and you collect so you have people to help you keep your grip. You connect to unite people who think like you; you unite people who act like you; you unite people who know facts like you. You are the collector, you are the connector, you are the defector, you will not stop searching until the day you die. You can spot them by the words they speak; you can spot them by their societal actions; you can pick them out of a crowd of one thousand people, and you convince them to join your faction.
