The College of Business at Alfaisal University Welcomes On-board 6 New Business Faculties:(Profiles are Below) Dr. Ahmed Alanazi Dr. Alanazi is an Assistant Professor of Finance at Alfaisal University in Riyadh. Ahmed has accomplished his Ph.D. in Finance at Griffith University, Australia, 2013. His Ph.D thesis titled Three Essays on Initial Public Offerings: Evidence from the Six Countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council. The thesis was an extensive empirical and theoretical examination of the IPOs performances that occurred in the GCC region between 2003 and 2010. Dr. Ahmed Also holds a Masters degree in International Business (MIS) specializing in Finance from Griffith University, Australia, 2006. He obtained his Bachelor degree in Computer Sciences from King Saud University, 2001. Dr. Nicati Aydin Dr.Aydin is an associate professor of economics at Alfaisal University. He received his bachelors degree in Public Finance, masters degree in International Economics, and two doctoral degrees, one in Education and the other in Economics. He worked as a researcher at Florida State University and Florida TaxWatch Research Institute for nine years after receiving his first doctoral degree. He also taught at Florida A&M University and Tallahassee Community College for several years. He had worked at King Saud University for 3.5 years before moving to Alfaisal in August 2014. . Dr. Nur Barizah Dr. Barizah is Assistant Professor of Accounting. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Accounting, Master of Sciences and Bachelor of Accounting (Honors) from the International Islamic University Malaysia. She has tthirteen years of experience in a university setting as lecturer. Author of over 20 published writings including university texts, book chapter and journal articles. Reviewer for several journals and examiner of several theses. Recipient of eight research grants and four academic awards. Supervised two Masters Thesis. Translator of course module. Taught 18 different courses in four universities. Dr. Abdel Monim Shaltoni Dr. Shaltoni has extensive experience in the fields of marketing and e-business. He holds a PhD in e-marketing from the University of Birmingham. Before starting his academic career, Dr. Shaltoni worked as marketing and business development manager for software houses. He spent a major part of his career as a lecturer at the University of Petra where he was also head and member in several councils/committees. Other teaching experiences were at the University of Westminster (London) and the University of Jordan (Amman). His research interests focus on the organizational adoption of e-marketing and marketing practices in developing countries where he secured research funds and published in international peer reviewed journals and conferences. Dr. Robert Zacca Dr. Zacca is an Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship. He earned his bachelors degree in Engineering from Tulane University in New Orleans, his M.B.A. from Plymouth State University in New Hampshire, and his Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship from Cracow University of Economics in Poland. His current research investigates the drivers and enablers of innovative enterprises, creativity in entrepreneurship and the theoretical framework of entrepreneurship. He has won a National Research Foundation grant from UAE and his work has been published in the Management Decision, Creativity and Innovation Management, International Journal of Entrepreneurship & Innovation, IEEE International Technology Management Conferences and elsewhere. Dr. Zacca has over 10 years academic teaching experience in the field of entrepreneurship and management and over 7 years industry experience in engineering and business management. Dr. Haitham A. Al-Zoubi Dr. Al-Zoubi is a financial economist with consulting, research, and teaching in asset pricing, financial engineering, corporate finance, and Islamic finance. He worked as Deputy Director General for Research and Development at Jordans Social Security Corporation where he had fundamental contributions to Jordan Social Security policy and reform. Dr. Al-Zoubi received his PhD in Finance from the University of New Orleans, Louisiana, USA in 2003. He worked as an associate professor of finance at United Arab Emirates University and as an assistant professor of finance at the Hashemite University. He has 23 papers published in highly ranked refereed academic journals like; Journal of Futures Markets, International Journal of Theoretical and Applied Finance, Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions and Money, and the Quarterly Review of Economics and Finance.
