The Colors of August - at the Warwick Valley Farmers Market. Several years ago, I started realizing how special this time of the year is. The sun shifts into a special angle so that the light is crisp and has a clarity I dont see other times of the year. Of course, this brings us to the height of the harvest season with an abundance of fresh food, flowers, and more. You even notice a certain contentment on peoples faces as they enjoy the sunshine, the breezes and the bounty around them, especially at our Farmers Market. So heres a sampling of the special colors (and flavors) and the smiles on the faces of our neighbors at the Market. Tomorrow, come enjoy the period music of Linda Russell who has always delighted families with her interpretation of traditional American songs.
